Both C+ and CW are up in arms at Nicole Cooke failing to win the coveted prize of "Sports Personality of the Year" in favour of Zara Phillips ( daughter of Princess Royal (Anne),

I agree - Nicole's contribution to British sporting achievements this year was one superb and courageous performance. We would not take this away from her and am sure she understands our admiration for Emma

However, both myself and Mad Doc consider that Emma Davies Jones should have been nominated and the courage she showed and the achievement after such a set back - coupled with her courage and lack of revenge.. show this woman to be a true "personality of the year" and one whom we should commend as the true icon of British Sport and Courage at its finest

I wish Emma all the succcess in the world for 2007. I am sure I am not alone here. Both Nicole and Emma have achieved much for their sport and long may they continue to do so!
