Hello there, I am being prosecuted again for speeding. This time is a little different and I need some advice. It was a mobile camera in a new place I had never seen before. There was a camera sign at ground level leaning against a hedge/fence/tree. Is this legal? I always assumed the camera sign had to be in a prominent permanent/semi permanent position. This one could have been obscured by someone standing in front of it!!
Can anyone help with advice? :?

There are no rules that require partnerships to abide by for visibility of cameras, or warnings of.
(there used to be, but that ended years ago, and that was only to enable cost recovery)

And a high percentage of the ones I saw were that close to the van that you stood no chance - fortunately ( for me ) around these parts the signs were visible a long way away .  ,and in some locations the van could be almost hidden ( be it behind bus shelter or in trees)
