Hello to you all from a new member,
I'm not sure this is in the correct section but here goes anyway.
My question is do you have to be driving towards a mobile camera (the type out of the back of the van on a tripod) for it to detect your speed? I passed one tonight on my way home from work doing about 36 in a 30 zone but was driving away from it rather than towards it, I just wondered if this matters. I looked in the rear view and saw a red infra red dot flash on the camera as I was driving away. I drove past it again later obviously doing only 30 this time the van had no markings on it apart from a police crest on the door and the lovely lady packing away the camera with the flourescent jacket on had community support officer on the back.
Does anyone know if I Will get a ticket?????
