I have read that South Kent Police have had a problem with hand held radar guns and have temporarly stopped using them .
Last week I was "clocked" at 45 in a 30 zone by a police officer with a hand held laser gun in Tunbridge Wells( west Kent). I didn't think I was going that fast --but was shown the 45 on the back of the camera.
I would like to take my case to court but will it be a waste of time and money and what else might I incur ?
Does anyone know if the problem with the radar guns applies to all of Kent?
Thanks

Does seem to be only in South Kent.

But if you are sure you could take the route of having the proper calibration papers presented in court, etc. There are people here who are experts and who can offer you the advice you need. Good luck! :)

I thought the problem was with laser speed meters, not radar ones?

Yes. Hand held radar went out of use over a decade ago. (But plenty of folk still call the modern laser equipment 'radar' by mistake.)
