just a quick question, iv recieved a nip for failing to comply with sign "no motor vehicles. except for access"
what is the penalty for this offence. is it possible to get penalty points?

I don't think so but don't quote me on that. Was an endorsement code given e.g. TS50 or MS30?

If you wish you could try to confirm the validity of the offence - make sure a suitable Traffic Order has been granted for the 'access only' road. I can't advise how you go about doing that.

Was this NIP issued by post? Did they take any steps to establish that your purpose was not 'access'?

yes was by post, thats all it said, failed to comply with sign "no motor vehicles. except for access"
