Anybody seen the pearls of wisdom which appear on the left hand side of the website.

Perhaps CSCP could inform us how there lasers would have affected the outcome of these accidents that they raise

June 2004

A590

Vehicle crosses centre line and hits oncoming vehicle

1 Dead

September 2004

A595

Vehicle overtakes tractor and hits car head on

1 Dead

June 2004

M6

Vehicle leaves carraigeway and hits bridge

1 Dead

October 2004

Unclassified Road

Car overtakes and hits oncoming vehicle

1 Dead

In all areas, the majority of fatal and serious injury accidents occurred while vehicles were driving straight ahead or going into left or right hand bends

Correct me if i'm wrong but when driving a car you can only go forward right or left ??????

Unless reversing of course, what a stupid comment on your website

Here is one to match yours " The majority of car passengers killed in Cumbria happened whilst they where in there car"

February 2004

A590

Eastbound vehicle crosses centre line and hits oncoming traffic

1 Dead

February 2004

B5302

Car left road for no apparent reason

1 Dead

Madness on your own website!! How could you have influenced this lot??

That's fantastic, how does complete non-information like that get onto a publicly funded website?

That seriously needs to be directed at the national press.

These people are really the guardians of our road safety?

bring on the ridicule they deserve.

I was amazed to see how good the advice is on this page:

http://www.cumbriasafetycameras.org/ind ... rivingtips

Then at the bottom I noticed it comes from the AA, not CSCP. Should have guessed, there's more to it than 'watch the sign on the lollipop'.

Aahh. It takes me back like it was only yesterday.

I remember suggesting they link to the Highway Code Online!!

I had'nt realised they still had'nt come up with any ideas of their own worth any salt!
