Did anyone else notice that when they put in the camera van bays on the hill going into Barrow town after the Strawberry lights that they also removed the 30 limit signs, including burning off the large painted signs on the road. How strange? Unless revenue not safety was the prime consideration

Don't be surprised, we all KNOW revenue collection is the prime activity of the Cash-Camera Pratnerships. There may well be some well-intentioned politicians who have not yet realised that these cameras are just being used for cash-collection, but those operating them know for sure that it's just about the money and about 'being seen to be doing something visible' in respect of road safety rather than addressing the real issues.
