My views do not represent Safespeed but those of a driver who has driven for 39 yrs, in all conditions, at all times of the day & night on every type of road and covered well over a million miles, so knows a bit about what makes for safety on the road, what is really dangerous and needs to be observed when driving and quite frankly, the speedo is way down on my list of things to observe to negotiate Britain's roads safely, but I don't expect some fool who sits behind a desk all day to appreciate that.

Same locally. On one road we had massive tailbacks. Obvious answer was lights, but no, we got yet another mini roundabout. All that has happened is to move the tailback on to the other roads, and sometimes into one of the main roads leaving town. Problem locally is that the last bit of the HC gets ignored. As in go on green. What's missed is only if safe to do so. Roundabouts it' the bit about looking out for traffic on roundabout. I've already seen a few nasty T boners on other roundabouts, with vehicles taking the right of way they didn't have. But then they haven't invented roundabout camera, yet :loco: s
