Continuing to reduce speed limits on our A roads will naturally drive 'boy racers' onto quieter back roads, where there is no viable way to enforce any speed limits. It is a no win situation for the limiters, as it would be economically impossible to enforce speed limits on our narrow lanes. There are not enough speed cameras or police patrols to even begin enforcement.
Boy racers such as myself (I'm 60) will always be able evade the limits if they choose to. Of course I would never break a legal speed limit.
