Today our safety programs are all about each entity’s own self interests to assure they get their fair share of pork from Congress or revenue opportunities and producing data where the conclusion have virtually nothing to do with actual causes to support this self interests, while the true safety programs are being systematically dismantled and go unfunded. The special interest have simply highjacked highway safety funding that was intended by us "We The People" to be spent on improving the general welfare of the public.
