Yeah, but it takes a man to make a complete balls up of it.

Bob. I don't think you'll find any ardent femenists here so don't worry about ruffling too many feathers!

I dont think you'll find any ardent feminists taking issue with someone slagging off the Sheila's Wheels advert.

My GF hates it to the point of changing channels when it's on, she says it's very patronising towards women, worse than the make up ads even. I'm inclined to agree.

But then she drives a stage 2 Nissan 200SX (bigger turbo, FMIC, chip, intake, exhaust, 300ZX brakes etc.) and showed up a fair few of the blokes when she tagged along in her own car to a Subaru meet up in Wales that I was going to.

Wondering if some females are taking the p about Sheilas Wheels - of late seeing a lot of pink dice/seatcovers/steering wheel covers etc on various cars - even pink wheel trims --FFS ( but most of these females are blonde)

And why is it, that if two men are in a car, they can both talk to each other and look out the windscreen, but you put two women in a car, they HAVE to look at each other to talk?

I was a passenger in a car that had stopped at a zebra crossing and my mate who was driving just said "oh no" and we got rear-ended. He'd seen these two women yakking in the car behind, both looking at each other... doh!

I can't stand not to look at where we're going when I'm not driving. (I don't much care for not looking where I'm going when I am driving either  ) I just can't look away. Its not like I don't trust the driver, but I feel more comfortable looking at the road.

There's no excuses for hitting someone because you were too busy talking, male or female.

Has anyone noticed that - by and large - the pinker and furrier the car's interior the uglier and less feminine the driver?

I saw one the other day that had pink furry everything, and the (female) driver looked like the fat guy from 'Lost'.

My (rather attractive  ) assistant has a theory that it's a form of compensatory behaviour, and I tend to agree.

(Apologies to any drivers of pink furry interiored cars reading this, I'm sure you're all beautiful exceptions to my empirically determined rule
:bunker:)

Same way they're always the ones with 'playgirl' stickers everywhere and usually wearing a top that's 2 sizes too small with 'sexy' on it in glitter.

That's them! They have to point out that they're 'sexy', in case anyone wasn't too sure.

Women drivers have fewer accidents so their insurance is cheaper than mens, right?

Acording to insurance statistics mile for mile Women are safer than men up to the age of 38. After that men are safer.

The last bit is probably true.
My friend from Cumbria is now 40 plus isn't she? OK, only joking V.

Best wishes all,
Dave - living dangerously again!

Hey I can confirm that. It became a (sort of) joke in this household but I think it is true.

Having said that, I find it irritating to note that I have become more clumsy in recent years - and it doesn't just seem to be a monthly thing!

Best wishes all,
Dave.
