I've just sent this:

-------- Original Message --------
Subject: Freedom of Information Act Request

Hi,

Please service the following request made under the Freedom of Information Act
2000.

I am interesting in roads fatalities at speed camera sites. Please provide the
following detail:

1) Fatalities at designated enforcement sites, total by year, from earliest
available figures to latest (part year) figures. I am expecting at least three
years' before figures, more would be better.

2) Please confirm the exact date of first operation of partnership cameras.

3) Please separate fatalities for 2004 between 'before partnership operations'
and 'after partnership operations'.

4) Full details of any fatality that has taken place coincident with camera
operations (i.e. any road death near an operating camera)

The address for correspondence is:
Trace House,
Clay of Allan
Fearn near Tain
Ross-shire
Scotland
IV20 1RR

Please acknowledge this Freedom of Information request.

I would prefer to receive your reply in electronic form by email.

Anyone planning to use this FoI request as a template should consider that sites may be added by some partnerships over a long period.

For example fixed camera may have been added in various years on various dates. Clearly this will complicate the data.

I happened to know this was not the case in my area.
