i recently passed through the A2 at bexley and noticed lines on the road, the kind from a Gatso under a footbridge and was wondering whether there is in fact a camera there, i couldn't see one. are they using the lines as another deterant to us drivers? the aforementioned lines are under a footbridge eastbound before the black prince exit. i would appreciate if someone could confirm the existence of a camera there.

I think you posted this in the wrong place, but if you haven't recieved a NIP in the post by now then you are safe.

They do have a tendancy to leave the lines in the road after the camera hs been taken away though, so if you really can't find it after going looking for it, it's probably not there. There's also a few where they have lines and power points for the camera but just have the camera there sometimes, usually on the back of a trailer or similar. I haven't seen many of these in my travels though as the mobile vans have pretty much replaced them.
