Apparently if you believe the signs in Manchester 'burb of Eccles - you can only park on Vicarage Grove for 30 minutes....
But the signs are WRONG!
NO restrictions at all!
Public don't know this - but the boss of the traffic wardens ain't letting on he parks up on Vicarage Grove - near his offices...
When challenged by the "M.E.N" - CPS claimed their employee was not doing anything wrong and it was up to public to tell them their signs were wrong!
The Evening News reporters were hot on the case and spotted the traffic warden boss parking up for hours on end and watching MoPs parking for 30 minutes in the reamining 6 bays on this road. They also noted a peculiar absence of traffic wardens ....
Apparently there is a legal snag preventing the parking enforcement and the warden boss is abusing insider knowledge. Last month this same warden had his car towed away beccause his tax disc was four months out of date
Since the hottest reporters in Manchester alerted the good folk of Eccles that they can park for as long as they wish in Vicarage Grove - the CPS has bagged up the signs.....
