Danger, you are entering a speed camera area!

My views do not represent Safespeed but those of a driver who has driven for 39 yrs, in all conditions, at all times of the day & night on every type of road and covered well over a million miles, so knows a bit about what makes for safety on the road, what is really dangerous and needs to be observed when driving and quite frankly, the speedo is way down on my list of things to observe to negotiate Britain's roads safely, but I don't expect some fool who sits behind a desk all day to appreciate that.

It's OK, I can't see a camera so it probably wasn't "at the camera site" - it shouldn't reflect badly on their figures!

A collection of environmental conditions:
entering / exiting village,
double Hill,
various road markings,
camera signs

Google : https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=A4 ... ra=ls&z=16

and the accident location here:
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=A4 ... 5,,0,-1.92

So its coming into a 'cushion' 40 from 50 that then leads to a 30.
Down hill into the 40.
We can only ponder if it is the speed limit change that has acted as a factor in this incident. :(
Could be some or several other factors too of course.
