Paul, I think this merits a reduction in the camera meltdown clock.

Mad Doc will now be jealous. He was hoping his youngest would get done for speeding on her trike as he cannot keep up with her :rotfl;

Come to think of it.. nor can I. :lol:

If I had a 3 year old disabled child and had a blue badge for that child and a tax exemt car for that child. That car would have to be re-registered in the childs name to receive the road tax exemption.

How could the law (section172) force the 3 year old to name the driver.
Could the child read and understand the form?

Who was driving?.... errr Teddy :D

This approach has been endorsed by Attorney General ever since 1951. CPS Code

This "reaction" to the article sums it up nicely for me:

How many times has similar happened, but the prosecuted daren't argue in the courts?

The technology isn't all its cracked up to be, and unfortunately the Police Farce seem unwilling to use a little common sense in these matters.

- Stephen Matthews, Northampton UK

Perhaps SafeSpeed can get some mileage out of this.
Pathetic situation though, I am seriously flabbergasted.

Obviously the parent/carer probably got pinged - but the law has to be a ass as this kid would not be able to complete it and as far as I am aware from reading all the stuff in the motoring rags and legal advice .. the RK has to nominate a driver. This might be an interesting point of law here :popcorn:

To IG.. .:rotfl: I really struggled to keep up with our youngest this afternoon.. She was on a "roll" here. I think I am looking at a potential Nicola Cooke or my particular fave cyclist pro - Emma here. :lol:

This child of ours.. I think 8 mph average speed for a 3 year old on a trike in our local public gardens by the Waters deserves a public :bow: and a :clap: :lol:
