Noticed this in one of my local papers. As you can see these roadworks where supposed to be completed in November last year, they are still ongoing and not only has the time frame stretched out, they also stretched out the length of the roadwork’s and camera catch points. I suspect the police won’t give out the number of drivers caught speeding because it’s either a cash cow or these road works and cameras are being used purely to cause congestion.

IIRC, there was a recent article stating that the FOI rejection was to prevent motorists from deducing which cameras were live and which were not; makes sense from a SCP POV. I guess the journalist conveniently dropped that part :roll:

Well if they did drop that part then its a sure sign that the media opinion is turning in our direction. OUr usual complaint is they they accept the SCP line hook line and sinker!

There shouldn't be any problem in releasing the data after the roadworks are completed, unless they were dummy units.
