Has any one seen this YouTube posting regarding Speed Camers

How well is this type approved device working?

about 18months ago i stumbled across a chap putting a new film in a gatso, decent enough guy approachable, got chatting etc he was good enough to explain the insides, gatsos can only be used for rear view prosecutions, i am pretty sure he said they use the gatsos to collect information when there is no camera in them, i did notice though a switch to turn the flash on or off, so maybe they forgot
