I've never imagined that Ruth Kelly was much of a Brown ally?

Is she being put in place today in case she has to resign over the ECHR ruling tomorrow? If it goes in favour of the apellant, that is. If it doesn't, she'll be rotated out in 6 months anyway.

Perhaps she will pray that road safety improves.

She doesn't need to be a Brown acolyte as this job is a poisoned chalice.

:gatso2: OH PLEASE NO, NOT RUTH KELLY! :banghead: I anticipate that this woman will cause a lot of trouble.

 TIP FOR SITE ADMIN Dear sweet Ruth will cause so much trouble it would be a good idea to create a forum topic header specifically for her and any unworkable disasters she comes up with.

Does this mean that there will be a new transport policy document - issued by the Vatican under the heading "The Ten Commandments" ?

Cabbie will appreciate this one - at about 2 am, person walks out on ped crossing. Cab stops - she walks to passenger side and get in .
PLod with WPC passes by . Driver is advised to not pick up passengers on crossing .

Sort of Ruth Kelly incident ??

I think she has experience of road safety issues first hand, given that she was well and truly run over by the ugly wagon.

Nah.

It means that all drivers will be forced to wear a cilice that tightens for each mph you drive over the posted speed limit...
