Click here for expert driving advice

Warning: If you're into political correctness you may find the site offensive, even though it contains no rude words or graphics.

Wow, I thought you meant "No rude words and no rude graphics" but no, you meant "... and no graphics"!

What a very informational site. I have signed up for the forum, I can't wait to read those posts!

2 problems I have noticed:
1. Bournemouth is not on the list of Locations on the join page.
2. overtaking.html does not exist.

Wait a moment, that is deliberate, isn't it?! ;)

That is so excellent. For some reason the phrase "Lorry Lane" makes me laugh so hard my girlfriend thought I was choking on a cashew nut. I'm definitely strange. :D

(What is scary is that there really are a few slip roads that are 30mph limits.)

I think the "isn't it?" bit implies some doubt on the part of Ziltro... the whoooosh is still with him.

Thank god for that - I thought you were going to tell me that you were deliberately teasing Ziltro and I would then have been the 'wooosh!' victim.

How convoluted! :hehe:

Just to clarify, yes it is delibarate that overtaking.html is mising, they've kind of forgotten about it. I will also be adding Bournemouth to the locations dropdown. For some reason I just drew a blank when trying to think of locations. I blame the fact that I wrote the site while stuck in a Travelodge on the A63 just outside Hull. It's amazing what you can do when bored.

The next pages planned are a page on towing a horsebox and a guide to pulling out at junctions (which will go into detail about the maximum size of gap you're allowed to pull into), possibly a hate mail page if I get enough of it (none so far)

Edit: Also, glad someone spotted that I'd put our resident troll in the forum. Scoobynet's resident troll is in there too but the rest are made up.

The scary thing is that you just know someone out there will take it seriously!

Might I suggest Grange over Sands? :hehe:

An excellent piece of work, but you forgot the bit about cats eyes on the motorway, and how they save you a fortune by removing the need for wearing glasses, having eye tests etc...

Ok, I admit it, it did take me a few minutes to work out why the page wasn't there. But only because I was looking forward to reading it's contents. :)

I would like to thank you for making the site accessible to blind motorists. Very thoughtful.

It's delibarately ambiguous. I may end up with graphics on the "indentifing emergency vehicles" page I have planned and they will almost certainly end up on the "where they hide the cameras" page if I make it.

Hehehe... most excellent!

I imagine you will be considering a merger with CLARA at some point (the Centre LAne Residents' Association).

Being serious for a minute... it's even worse than that. There are now five lanes on the M25 in between J12 (M3) and J15 (M4) pending the opening of Terminal 5, and the other night at around 8.30pm, there were cars in lanes 1 and 2 overtaking cars in lane 4! So not a case of middle lane hogs, but of "N-1" lane hogs!

Please can somebody explain to me the psychological mindset of those drivers...

I have already explained it.

On congested motorways, they insert additional Lorry Lanes before the car lane so that deliveries are still on time.
