recently I've noticed that the speed limits on roadworks have been reduced to "protect the workforce" in other words put a scamera on the road to make revenue.
One site is the A8 roadworks at Gogarburn,Edinburgh I have been pictured driving at 40mph in the "reduced 30mph zone", although the offence happened at 14.00hours there was no workers around the site at the time and the mobile speed trap still operates outside normal working hours (e.g 9-5),
I'm a 28 year old lift engineer driving since i was 17,until december 2000 I had never been even pulled over by the police, since 2000 I have been convicted of speeding 4 times and face a 5th in the near future, the first 4 convictions have all been for motorway speeding as I drive on average 30,000 miles a year
