Hi all,

This programme was strictly targeted at speeding. Alistair Stewart waffling about how we should "STICK" to the limit, good advice again alistair, especially around schools in snow!

Did he produce this show before or after his drink drive conviction? If it was after then he has a damn cheek to lecture us on being safe on the road.

Any time they showed someone speeding it wasn't 5 mph over it was 50 over-not just speeding but reckless driving. I almost got the feeling the programme was targeted at all anti-camera people and that they were portraying the reckless drivers as the anti-camera mob.

To their credit they did mention a bit about driving to conditions etc. but only before a big lecture about how good cameras are....or were!

When do you get your licence back Alistair?!

Regards

Andrew

I flicked to the channel and within seconds his first word was speed. so that was that off it went (cannot do with him bleating on)
Lost his licence through being a drunk driver hay. Is it is no wonder he likes speed scamers then, as they never catch the drunk driver. Bold tyres, no mot, no insurance, off ya face on dope, dead body in the boot, Ak47 on the front passenger seat ECT ECT

Just thought people might like to know that according to Wikipedia he has two drink driving convictions. I found out from somewhere else that one of the convictions came about when he crashed his Merc into a hedge.
Why is it the worst drivers who are so hysterically fixated with speed cameras and speed limits?

The worst drivers are fixated with them because they think other people speeding is why they have accidents rather than because of their complete lack of observation and anticipation. They can just about manage to drive at the speed limit without crashing too much so can't understand how someone else can drive more quickly without finding it more hectic than they do. They probably do 40 mph in nsl roads because they only look a few car lengths ahead and that is fast as they can go without finding it all gets tricky

Cameras don't bother them like traff pol do either.
