:gatso2: I heard about this some time ago.

And here's a real story about a drink-driver who flouted the law SIX times.

Anything I have to say about drink-drivers isn't printable on this forum.

I would be extremely worried about anyone who sees Homer Simpson as any kind of role model. :bunker:

Homer Simpson also handles radioactive material in a rather sloppy way. However I don't think the top brass at Sellafield need to panic and rush out instructions that it's staff should not handle material like Homer does.

Anyone who has had thier views on drink-driving influenced by a cartoon character probably don't have the minimum intellegence to drive a motor vehicle in the first place.

My thoughts exactly.

I regularly drive past a roadside shrine to a young woman who got killed in a car crash that she caused whilst drunk at the wheel. The driver in the other car survived but he spent several weeks in hospital. I always want to rip down the shrine and replace it with "Drinking and Driving Kills" posters. There is no excuse at all for drinking and driving.

How dare you say that, Homer is my hero :D :D :D :D

Drinking and driving is totally inexcusable. There is no need for it, and I completely agree with the stiff penalties. Unfortunately, far to many innocent lives are taken by these arseholes.
