Hiya SafeSpeed peeps, Dave from Hemel Hempstead coming aboard to say hello to you all and be of help wherever I can. :)

I'm currently a member of the ABD and I'm a total car nut. I run the events side of a car club called ClubRWD. Its a forum, for enthusiasts of proper cars, classic cars, performance stuff, basically, if its interesting and rear wheel drive, then that's what we're into, none of this boy racer stick on tat stuff.

I've heard loads about Paul Smith and Safespeed, and it wasn't until I got a speeding ticket that I've spent more time on the Safespeed website and discovered that it has a forum too. I've been doing my bit regarding spreading the word, re-educating people on safety and promoting the ABD for about 3 years now. I also drive for a living, so its essential that I'm able to keep my driving licence because its my hobby and my job!

Am I included in that? :) Nice to see people appiciating the pleasure of RWD cars! I wouldn't class mine as a perforamance car but it picks its feet up when you push it. Will check out your site!

Welcome to the group as well, I haven't been on here long myself but so far found that people on here to be a good bunch. Plenty of opportunity to share thoughts on improving our roads, and there are some very knowledgeable people and so I've be learning new stuff along the way.

Capri 2.8, of course its interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Yeah, feel free, come and have a look at ClubRWD, even if it was the 1.6 we'd be interested, as long as its rear drive. :)

But hey, I digress, I'm not 100% trying to recruit people over to my forum (although everyone's welcome), I came here to get advice, and I'll deffo be sticking around as there are so many like minded (politically and road safety wise anyway) people on here! :D
