They fail to mention too that no plants are tall to enable good visibility in all directions. Shame the town let it get rundown really, but good that the film company gave it a new lease of life !
I think we need more roundabouts to be that than this new traffic light invested 'roundabout junction'.

From obversation , thinking/ forward looking drivers are not welcome on UK roundabouts. Otherwise we'd not have sight restriction or traffic lights erected . But ask why we need traffic lights on roundabouts. My theory is the dog eat dog attitude supported/influnced by the lack of educational influence by the police, from lack of numbers, as the pressure on them changed from educate to prosecute. The educational carrot withered to the size of a small shoot, whilst the enforcement stick shot to the size of a telegraph pole ( and no one saw the "D" for DANGER on the side of that pole ). ( Authors note- a D POLE is one which is deemed unsafe for engineers to climb).
