Perhaps BMW drivers are all 'advanced drivers' and consequently don't have to indicate any more?

Perhaps it's not the BMW cars that need to be recalled.

Yes, sorry for getting serious, I do tend to do that, but I'm house-trained really. I do get the occasional hard time on the road simply because I drive a certain German-manufactured type of vehicle, so I maybe take it too seriously when I see something that says I'm a bad driver just because of that. I'm not perfect, but not at all bad, so it does grate more than a little though.
You'll spot me on the road because I'll be the one with all the fog lights on, in lane 3 at 130mph, talking on the mobile, smoking a cigar, reading a newspaper while typing wireless emails into the laptop and I won't be indicating at all.

But what would you do to them when they were recalled?

And with a sharp knife, or a blunt, rusty one?

Arrange apointment with a set of HGV drivers, with set of electrodes all with own 24v Batteries( and skull tools).

I always indicate whether there is anyone else about or not.

There is nowt much more annoying than waiting to cross a road, whilst on foot, when the car you are waiting for, turns left twenty feet before he gets to you without indicating!! Worse if its raining hard and cold. Makes you want to stiop them and point at the indictaor stalk, saying, "See that little stick there? If you lift that up or push it down, it makes little orange lights flash on the corners of your car!"

So yes, I always indicate.

People not indicating or indicating incorrectly on roundabouts are the worst in my opinion.

There could be something in BMW needing to do a recall on indicators. Someone I know has a 3 series and it is easily the least reliable car I have ever know. You could pay £1000 for a heap at an auction and get more reliablity than that pile of scrap. It's newer than my car (T vs S). All I have to do is change the odd light bulb, but his can almost drive it's self onto the trailer.

Reading back , i sense that some drivers of german built cars are taking offense , thinking that i'm taking the p**.Sorry - thought that this post was keeping the comedy option open. No offence meant, and if any taken i offer a full an inmitigated apology.
