It's a very strange looking foot. The toes are curled around by nearly 180 degrees, in the wrong direction. And it seems to be holding something.

I'm confident the photos in that article are contrived.

I'm worried though that I will be caught shaving and have this natural activity clobbered as a heinous phone crime. ;-)

I wonder if a defence to that would be confirmation of a fitted and working hands-free kit?

It looks more to me that the person has their feet on the air vents; they don’t look to be on the steering wheel.
