Surprisingly, nobody has compared the freedoms Muslims enjoy in Britain, to practice what they wish, to the strict regimes back in most muslim countries.

I seem to remember that the no alcohol laws which are of a religious nature, are STRICTLY enforced on all nationalities, irrespective as to whether their religion allows it or not.

Here in Britain, as an island race (of mongrels) we have enjoyed great freedoms, which even our neighbours dont enjoy - and often for good reasons.
Identity cards? We still have a choice - the French do not, and my parents who live there are NOT excepted - they have to carry ID papers, and can be stopped on the street without cause, and asked to produce them!

Enjoy this freedom while you can! I have already told my mother-in-law that from next year, all British women will be expected to wear veils so the muslim women dont feel out of place... who knows, it might just work...

Just out of interest, are the French ID cards paper or are thay like the ones proposed here backed by a giant "Big Brother" database?

Stiff paper, folded in two, with a photograph, and a thin laminate covering.
If you dont have them on you, expect up to a 4 hour stay in the police station until they check you out, or a relative turns up with the document.

In France, WAITING for justice to occur is more of a punishment than many courts hand out once you are found guilty here!

I suppose that means you can judge them on pertness then, rather that whether or not they have a face like a plumbers toolbag.

I agree with the concept of the thread....Muslim this, Muslim that. Its just like terrorists - if the MSM didn't spend so much time publishing their stories and acts, there wouldn't be any point as no one would know about it.

But we all know how the MSM goes into a feeding frenzy whenever it cans.

BTW, I am NOT comparing muslims to terrorists in my statement above

Want to intergrate, live under our laws, accept this country is a WHITE, CHRISTIAN, EUROPEAN country and not an extension of some middle Eastern enclave, then you are more than welcome to stay in our beautiful country, just shut up accept you are here intergrate into society and stop winging about everything in the UK. :)

No I disagree with you that this is a White Christian country. Agree about the European bit but the country belongs equally to all its citizens regardless of their colour or religion. We all obey the laws and pay our taxes and I was born here even if I am only 3rd generation so this is as much my country as anyone else's.

They also have a right to whinge about things because in this country we have free speech.

Ok, we differ the stats for the 2001 census say the UK population is 96.3% white, now call me old fashioned but that is a majority, 2001 census showed 72% UK population Christian with about 15% also catholic, now forgive me again but that is a majority. I never said churchgowers I merely said the majority would tick the box as christian.

As for the moans, they moan about how we are different to them, well hey theres a shock, we are a white christian european country, we have a different outlook and approach to life, I am not saying whose is best. It would be like me going to live in Saudi Arabia and complaining that I could not drink, my wife not being allowed to go topless on the beach or wear a bikini on a shopping street, I could complain about having my hands cut off for robbing, BUT NO!!!

I would accept I was in Saudi Arabia and accept there traditions and laws, and not spend my entire life maoning about it.

Intergrate and we will all live together very well, still think you are living in a suberb of Pakistan in London and we will never get along.

Nope.

You must respect my culture and I must respect yours. If those two goals are incompatible, we should bury our heads in the sand, and "celebrate diversity"

I also believe keeping the population at large from seeing the state of my socks a sacred duty.

And the intergration policy continues courtesy of Greater Manchester Police

Would they refrain from arresting me whilst I am worshipping at the temple of Goodison Park?? Thought not!

quite right.

So if you have respect, and you refuse to take your shoes off because of the parlous state of your socks, you wait outside.

Simple, really.

1. It's spelt "integration".

2. To compare a holy place of worship to a place where overpaid inarticulate thugs play that kickyball game is barbarous.

3. I believe the police would draw the line at arresting a worshipper in church during a service for all but the most extreme reasons, so why should the same courtesy not be extended to all of her majestys subjects?

So if enough westerners move to Saudi Arabia, we could expect a change in their law to allow them to drink alcohol - after all, our religion permits this.
Do many people go to Saudi to seek assylum? It seems our free speech has made us a soft touch for those who lack respect.
As usual, the actions of a few are attracting attention to the remainder, who are blameless, and cause no upset!

I'd hardly refer to a place where mass murder and bombings are discussed and planned as holy places of worship...

And your proof that this is happening? Daily Mail articles are not admissable in this context.

Where do you live? In a cave? Are you cut off from communications?

Here are just a couple of examples:
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/ ... sb.01.html

http://jamestown.org/terrorism/news/art ... ue_id=3455

BRITISH police investigating a terror plot by Islamic saboteurs have found chemical warfare protection suits in a north London mosque.
The discovery has shocked detectives, who believe the find confirms supporters of Osama bin Laden were planning a poison attack on civilian targets in Britain. Scotland Yard and MI5 detectives had kept the discovery of the nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) suits secret.
They feared disclosing it would spark panic.
Government ministers have warned any suggestion that the Finsbury Park mosque had been involved would have worrying racist overtones.
Police initially revealed they had seized a cache of weapons, including a stun gun, an imitation rifle and a gas canister.
Detectives last night confirmed that the protective suits were being tested to establish if there was any trace of ricin or any other poison.
The Finsbury Park mosque has a notorious reputation because of its use by radical Muslim clerical Abu Hamza to preach holy war against Britain and the US.
Two of Hamza's devotees include failed suicide bombers Richard Reid - who tried to detonate a shoe bomb while flying from Paris to the US - and Zacrias Moussaoui, who the FBI claims was to have been the 20th hijacker in the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington in 2001.

http://www.ccmsectorinvest.com/detailed ... 7&d=8*2005

Do you categorically state that murders and mass bombings are not planned or discussed here?
