Not sure if it is relevant, but I keep finding myself logged out today, even though my settings are set to log me in automatically!

My google ipage resets about once every month - I have to reset all my preferences and ALL my logins on every forum I am in.

I'm blaming Microsoft and their bl**dy security updates - I still have not forgiven them for ruining my boot setup, and locking me out of my own PC until I could re-install the boot ini file! :x :x

Are you using something like ccleaner ,Ernest ? That gets tid of a lot of cookies & memorised things .Else ,try Firefox .

No, I don't run any sort of cleaner/shredder - just delete stuff manually when required.
However, I am sure that microsoft is responsible!

I already use Firefox - and while it stores the passwords, it has to be re-logged on manually.
Then it is OK for another month, then "kapow" all my logins log off!

Firefox seems to have just passed that critical point, that all software eventually reaches, where any further tinkering by the developers makes it worse rather than better. I used it for several years but in the last six months it has become very prone to crashing (and that is on several different installations). My son tell me that all the leading geeks are going to Google nChrome and I am trying that myself. It is reliable but, like all Google products (except the Search) it is a bit rough around the edge - no proper print facility and it can't be tiled.

Only feature in IE I like is the ability to allow/deny cookies ,which I don't seem to be able to do with FF.Once upon a time ,in the heady days of IE5 there used to be a program called IDCIDE -which ( depending on level of security ) would let you know about trackinf etc and give you the chance to zap tracking cookies .It doesent seem to have gotten past IE5.5 ,if it still exists .
