| Not remotely practical for learners living in big cities, just as motorway training isn't practical for those living in Cornwall or Caithness. | I'm sure BRAKE have proposed introducing an offence of just "Causing death by DRIVING", so there's no need to demonstrate that someone's driving was careless or dangerous. If you're driving a motor vehicle and are involved in a fatal accident, you get banged up regardless of fault. |

I remember reading a posting, maybe not on here, where someone who had attended a speed awareness course saw one of the instructors pull out of the car park, mobile phone in hand
