Terrorists, murderers .. take your pick. Moron, Cretin .. take your pick. Why are you calling my a moron or a cretin? Is it because you don't like to be told the truth? At least I'm not supporting an organisation that wants innocent people to die, which is EXACTLY what all you lot who support ss an...

A quick google search reveals: To qualify for charitable status a body must be established in UK law for charitable purposes only and those purposes must be for the public benefit. If a body has a purpose which is non-charitable, (eg political activities) it will not qualify for charitable status, ...

I predict this is where Gatsos forever will duck out of this thread and post the same irrelevant drivel on another thread. Until of course he inevitably gets asked the same question he has now been asked about 50 times and still he fails to give a meaningful answer. So Gatsos forever, we are still ...

The reason I believe this, is that you believe a device that just enforces the law is a safety device. An airbag, a seat belt etc etc… are safety devices. They do not enforce the law, they help to protect you. How does a speed camera stop a driver driving at an excessive speed(within or above the l...

Compliance with the law would be difficult, however driving safely would not. I beg to differ, knowing your numerical speed is very important when your perception has been altered after driving at higher speeds. I'm pretty sure myslef this is why a lot of people come off around corners, especially ...

I have respect for the law and safety. So law first then saftey second? Only because L comes before S in the alphabet and I happened to list them alphabetically I don't belive you. I think the law is a priority your mind, that is why you put it first. The fact is alphabetical is merely coincidence....

The trouble is, using your analogy, SS would be campaigning to ban the use of Asprins, so, people who would benefit from Asprins would be denied that. I can't fault your argument other than to say that (keeping the analogy going) the misapplication of Asprin has brought it into disrepute, so a &quo...

I actually really look forward to the day when a pro-camera poster comes on here and is able to engage in reasonable logical debate on road safety matters without making a fool of himself with repeated Ad Hominem fallacies and mudslinging. Gatso Forever, no-one here is saying that speed limit enfor...

Yes its true! Google ads place the ads there, based on algorithms their servers use to target the ads based on the content of the page. Clearly with widely ranging forum topics there is a lot of scope for what can end up advertised on a page. One another forum I frequent a seemingly innocuous topic...

By your 'logic' richard hammond is a safe driver (look at what speed he did). How about asking Ayrton Senna how safe he is - after all, a racing car driver drives very fast. Whoops! Sorry! You can't! He died in a HIGH-SPEED crash didn't he? but at least he was safer than me sticking to 30mph wasn't...

A mind exercise for Gatsosforever. Picture these scenes: A man drives through a speed camera zone at 29mph. Another man drives through a speed camera zone at 32mph. Who is the dangerous driver? The man driving at 32mph? Well, let's expand on the information. The man who drives through the speed cam...

I remember once, there was a road I drove down to work - it was a national speed limit country lane. One day, part of it was made 30mph - there was a big sign for everybody to see. I managed to keep to no more than 30mph - why can't other people? Perhaps they were safer drivers than you? They had n...

speed cameras which are, despite SS views, safety equipment If they were safety equipment, they'd do something to make people safer. They don't, they just take a picture if triggered by something going faster than a particular speed. Which is why they are called speed cameras. Are you lot totally t...

Theres no such thing as a 'loophole'. there is simply the law. You are either in accordance with it or not. and exceeding the speed limit means you are breaking the law. So, why would a 'respectable' group like SS be allowing a legal firm that supports people who break the law, to advertise on thei...

therefore you do support the destruction of road safety equipment, therefore you do support terrorists and are an extremist. Your opinions are more proof that the pro-speed lobby are extremists. Is that what passes for logic on your planet? It's more logical than campaigning to scrap road s...

that’s right, the SS campaign support the use of trafpol Hmmm, with a lot of caveats. IMO only 1 caveat: appropriately set limits, or their use of discretion where the limits are set inappropriately low. Incorrect. If limits were be set properly then there would be no problem. I totally disagree, i...
