Drivers beware, I have spotted, on more than one occasion now, a mobile camera unit on the A21 on the long downhill section as you approach the exits for A25 Sevenoaks/Westerham and Jctn 5 M25. The slimy bastards hide in a layby which is on a sweeping blind left hand corner as you come down the hill...

Sl: Good morning Spankton Sp: Good morning Slitherby Sl: How is your penis? Sp: Fine thankyou Slitherby Sl: Excellent! Now then Spankton, I need you to go away and think of some more ways to tax middle Englanders out of existence. We've already stolen millions in speeding and parking fines and grea...

Like I said! It's not a road safety issue at all. It's just yet another way to shaft decent ordinary people like ourselves into paying more and more taxes The hypocricy of the the people who run this country knows no bounds. It doesn't matter who the politicians are or from which side of the politic...

I was glancing through Motoring section of yesterday's Daily Telegraph and quite by accident this article caught my attention. Quote: Despite these safety improvements, new speed trap legislation will soon make driving one mph over the limit a statutory offence, adds Michael Kemp. The move, threaten...

Didn't quite catch exact location, but a string of GATSO cameras have been vandalised with red paint on one of the arterial roads into London. Captain GATSO has claimed responsibility.

The Old Bill reckon they will all be back in action within 24 hours

Transport 1650 also believe this approach could be expanded to include airports and other known terrorist targets. A recent study showed that most aircraft take off in excess of 100 MPH. This is strong evidence showing a link between aircraft speed and terrorism, and we will be campaigning to insta...

I just clicked the Google link at the top of this thread There was a link to a page saying the government now wish to tax vehicles that are kept off the road. Just yet another example of this government's determination to tax people out of existence. It's becoming very clear that we, all of us, have...

I appreciate your advice IG and thanks for it

BUT

It really bothers me that anyone should have to go to such lengths just to get in their car and go for a drive!

I hope you can see where I'm coming from!

It REALLY shouldn't be neccessary to treat motorists like this!

Oh IG

If I had the choice between getting flashed by a GATSO and a ticking off from you.....it would be the latter....... providing you aren't being paid commission for nicking people of course!

Hello IG Thankx for you message No offence meant. I'm sure you are way too thick skinned to take any of what I've said personally anyway. especially when you have to deal with really nasty unpleasant people on a daily basis. And there's no shortage of 'em! And now that I've have calmed down a bit I ...

Hello Ped Thanks for your comments regarding the site of the speed camera on A21 A couple points here. The layby positioned immediately before the junction is in a ridiculous place. No doubt about that. Don't see why motorists should cough up any wedge because of some road planner's wet dream gone w...

Hello copper........again To answer your questions.... Yes! 2004 not a good year for me. This was the second of 2 accidents I have been involved in this year. Before you start making spurious judgements, please bear in mind I never had a road accident involving another vehicle or person since I star...

How amusing it is that coppers always manage to sound so bloody sanctimonious and self righteous. Oh! I'd cringe alright. I'd cringe at your piety. The golden halo aboveth your head gloweth in an aura of spendourous perfection. You can be absolutely assured that any roadside lecture from yourself or...

Had an equally nasty experience back in May A teenage cyclist rode straight out of a footpath into the path of my car. He had acted with absolute recknessness, riding straight out into the road when his line of vision into the road I was travelling on was obscured by trees and vegetation. I never ev...
