Did all the people that had motorways or prime trunk routes built through their locale have to pay for them ?

Then why are the locals to the A14 being required to pay just because it runs through their locale ?

I was brought up to believe each poppy represented at splash of blood to signify the fallen due to conflict.

Doesn't matter what "side" of the conflict you're on or any religious beliefs. (A Soldier is a Soldier under orders of his/her command)

What graphics card do you have installed ?

If it's a radeon then go into firefox prefs, Advanced tab and turn off Hardware acceleration. For some reason Firefox doesn't like Radeons !

I would never EVER take a machine into PcWorld.

Your best bet is to google how to fresh reinstall windows back on it.

Sounds like you're nearly ready for Linux. A few more infections should do the trick (shouldn't take too long to get those !!)

So buy an electric bike. You don't have to switch the power on if you're using it for fitness and when it's really windy just flick the switch. That's what I do. Bonus is that my boss lets me charge it at work ! The bike has full mudguards and a back rack for strapping your docky bag to. My bike
