Have just got a 1991 BMW 535i, Great for long drives and overtaking. Much safer than the Modeo TDci's i drive for work.
Besides the BM sounds far better than the Mondeo.

Just found this on the Lincolhire road safety partnership website, seems like a pretty sensible survey.

Hey you, I like BMW's!!! :x I would imagine it is Brake pressure they use. But don't quote me ont that. I feel the same, when i see people on motorways on and off their brakes i take my foor off the throttle and let the engine slow me down. Often end never even touching the brake! Mind you i usually driving a disel so loads of engine braking. BMW now have brake lights that light up accoding to how har...

There is a large shopping estate in Lincoln which has the 5mph signs and speed humps as well. HI I said experianced, but onyl kinda. Am 28 and passed my test when i was 17. But i never had a car then or even now actually. I have seen some very good driving by the traffic cops. I rekon most of the bad driving by the Police has been the panda cars. As to older cars being stopped they are more likley to have faults? MAybe the copper spotted something you did not? I hope this training the Humberside Police are doing work...
