If the facts are that I was the driver but I really do not think that I was going this fast and could they please give more details or check this for me, wouldnt this reply get their backs up and just put me in court anyway which would really bother me and worry me. Do you think that they rely on pe...

I am pretty sure from the links you have provided that it was a Gatso. You also said "At this stage in the proceedings there is an alleged offence and the NIP/S.172 is seeking information. At this time, an S.172 is not an admission of guilt. Surely when I return the nip with the details, that i...

It was one of those yellow boxes on a long pole with a small window in it, (a gatsto) I think.
It just astounds me as to how you are allowed 10% plus 2 which is 68 so I get a ticket?

If this the correct figuring out couldnt they have let it go?

I was talking to someone last night and he was telling me that I can ask to see th...

I know of a site in the town where I live that I have seen speed vans parked using their equipment and upon reading some of the posts on the forums I get the impression that there should be some kind of sign saying "speed camera" or emblem and there definitely isn't any type of forwarning ...

Thank you Handy and rigpig for your replies, We had just come off a dual carriageway and it was an A road (A590) I thought it was 70 national speed limit and although I knew the yellow box was there I didn't worry as I thought it was 70!!
