| paul, this might sound weird then - but i saw a copper the other day with what im sure was a hand held (dark and i had do a double take as i had never seen one on that road). i was going dead slow so looked for a patrol car and nothing. what would the police be doing then? possibly getting speed inf... |

Hi
I have been wondering if somebody could clarify the following as nobody seems to sure:
If you are caught by a copper with a hand held device can you be sent a fixed pen notice like when a camera gets you, or are hand helds used when a patrol car is nearby to pull you?
