| To the legal point. There is no date you say... Is there a date and time of the offence? If not Well then you cannot check to see if the NIP is legal (issued within 14 days) and you cannot comply with sec 172. PS - You should NOT have phoned the ticket office for advice but if its simply missing a ... |

| no reason for 30 mph : no reason for non-local to think it was 30 area Apart from the fact that it's in the middle of a built-up area, has street lights and no repeaters indicating any limit other than 30? I'm not defending the camera placement, but I know the road well and I can't see that anyone ... |

Should have said it was a ( cleverly-disguised) 30 area. No excuse there. Just querying the legality of the NIP. |

| Buxton to Macclesfield road : most dangerous in the country : no cameras. Road outside Buxton station, direction towards Whaley Bridge: no side roads, no buildings : no reason for 40 mph : no reason for non-local to think it was 40 area.
