Are you always this stupid?

You are a complete moron, if you think you can have a "big off", without protection, and a damned liar sir

I also suggest that an apology is in order.

I have had 3 big offs (in my 26 years riding) in 2 of them I wasn't wearing leathers (let alone 'armour') and did not have a trip to A&E because of it. Go figure. Now, i know you are making it up :!: Indeed - and that belief is likely to get riders into trouble in the first place 'I feel safe' ...

Red diesel is not subject to this duty because it can only be (legally) used in vehicles that are off road. Yes, this is the point i was making, farmers do not pay the fuel tax. It is also now becoming more regular to see a tractor towing a trailer, hauling their goods, without paying the fuel duty...

'Better protected' or leave a beautiful corpse? Hit something hard enough and you'll still die from internal injures. Take a low speed slide down the road in a T shirt & shorts and your next destination is the A & E, without doubt. Take a slide down the road with armour, and you have far be...

You know how many of the KSI statistics are from people only wearing 'T shirt & shorts'? :o

No stats that i have seen.

I am 100% positive that a rider wearing armour will be protected far better than a rider in a T shirt & shorts.

Unless you have evidence to the contrary :?:

I'm afraid you are harbouring a delusion. 'ACU' approval is a scheme that creates income (£5 per helmet) for the ACU sticker.

No dilusion, you are not permitted on a track without Gold ACU standard.

AFPC, a French road safety organisation have urged the French to look at British for the safest standard in driving in Europe.

They state "British courtesy behind the wheel is Legendary"

Seems we are to be the role model, or an excuse to stick in loads of cameras :P

Of course, if I had kids I'm sure I would make sure they were properly kitted out before they would even be allowed to ride pillion, never mind get a bike of their own. All those 16 year olds that are out there on mopeds are someones son or daughter, that may not always have another family member t...

£200 is about the average for good quality helmet nowadays. Yet all the helmets expensive or cheap have to be type approved so offer an acceptable level of safety to go on sale. British standard, is the minimum required. ACU approved standard, which has achieved a higher testing standard, that being...

You ,miss understand, you do not have an option, it is a legal requirement :!: The subsidy system has changed to an environmental sytem where we (they) no longer get paid based on production, now they st...

I have my mum for that! Unfortunatly my mum has never had road rash, so was not able to advise me. Hence in a pair of jeans, i removed the front of my knees to the bone. took 3 months for them to heal, and still have joint problems after all these years, as it not only removes skin, but also cartal...

As far as compulsory safety equipment is concerned I'm against making it compulsory, if only because the nanny state is already well out of control in this country. I agree with the nanny state bit, it is getting out of control, but safety clothing is common sense. but it is my choice and if I want...

Damn impossible to keep within the speed limits, and not suitable for a novice. It is forgiving, as it is so nimble, but really needs to be inexperianced hands :!:
