| Not for all the right reasons, but I guess it's good. As an aside, is it legal to park on the verge of a clearway? I think Paul should have sent in something to the Echo, as he has such a way of putting things to make people think. If it's a clearway then there is no stopping/parking allowed anywhe... |

| Somewhere, I'm sure it was here, there were some statistics for the different counties along with the figures of KSI etc and number of speed cameras within each county. I've tried to find it but cannot. Can someone post a link if they know please? |

| Do they ever advertise these changes? They sneakily reduced the speed limit of a stretch of the Dorchester Road in Weymouth which had been 40mph to 30mph just by taking away the 40mph signs. No surprise that a week or two later many motorists were zapped there too. Nice to see comments on the Dorset... |

| 4 hours on a sunday . They want to put a 30mph limit on the Holes Bay Road until 2009. :| And another shorter on the Dorset Way. Just for a contraflow. Eh? Eh? Holes Bay Road become a 30mph? | Maybe with them being a private company they are open to be sued for 'Misrepresentation' as their 'guidelines' are not always adhered to by the CPOs that drew them up. |

Interesting thread this is
For just 1 year I was with a women only insurer, but that was when I had an older 1.6. As soon as I bought a newer car, also a 1.6 and same make, their quoted premium shot up! Now I know why.....I'm driving the wrong car for my sex!  |

So could the extent of unfitness to drive due to drugs be measured in a similar way to that of drink?

| Oh Somerset are wonderful at ruining the countryside with their proliferation of signs. I drove from Bridgwater down to Langport (and beyond when I eventually discovered the directional sign I hadn't been able to find on going through 3 times!) on the A372 in the summer. It was an absolute nightmare... |

| It really worries me the amount of dangerous drivers that are not caught because of speed cameras. Next we'll be hearing that there's been a big reduction in the number of drink drivers, but will anyone ask why? Do you know of any statistics for numbers of drink driving versus speeding?
