Mainly for Dr L as he wanted to know how I get on with the costs claim. Well I asked for just over £200 including the 15ish prep time at £9.25/Hr. Asked me for proof and receipts. Wrote back with slightly revised claim, 45p/mile travel to and from court. 2 x parking costs, copies of rec eipts of pos...

Hi weevil, as usual the advise is to go to pepipoo.com follow the instuction on the sticky posts at the top of the forums, you need the 'Judical Process'. Make sure you spend an hour or so reading the FAQ's and links so you get the picture. :) Firstly, i am pretty sure that I was driving the car, bu...

thank MrsMiggins, is that for the length of the post or getting the case dropped? Anyway I've sent the court a bill for £211, sounds fair I think better than £100/hr if I'd got in a solicitor.
tommy02 you can look forward to that too! How's it going? |

Hi, just been through this myself. If your brother will go to court (final trail) and be a witness in the stand, giving same full story if needed, and say don't know you could have a stronger case than me as I wasn't going to take my other possible driver to court (unsure if it was me or my mother)....

Get yourself a good solicitor and get over to PePiPoo immediately is your best bet... My sympthies but if you want a 'good' solicitor an expert in motoring it'll cost a lot. Referencing from Pepipoo I'll seen quotes of £500-£600 for average defence with average solicitor. That sounds alot to me I d...

Hi nnishp, first thing I'd say is you need to put details like 'date received NIP' as this could be relevant (they have to send within 14 days of offence) Date on conditional offer of fixed penalty: 20/04/2006 have you completed the NIP to get the FP offer? The clock could be ticking a bit now so go...

Hi bob, Firstly like Roger I think you should try pepipoo.com in their forums goto the FAQ at the top's of the sections and read on. As for your problem you're waying up a few options, 1- 'Unsure of Driver', 2- Incorrect reading and due to camera error or signage ect. 3. Just hoping they be understa...

Hi I think it will be the company, and that means the CEO or manager who will get the fine, summons and points. I think it's basically the owner of the vehicle who is usually the boss but it could be leased which means the leasing company are the owners :o . Best thing to do is study the relevant la...

Thanks for the quick reply again, I must say that in my pepipoo days I struggled to get replies probably due to the shear amount of topics on the go and I think my case is classed as pretty tried and tested with load of past info. Good point about 172(7) I have read this and it is something I should...

If that means standing at a PTR, saying "Finally, I've seen the video. Now I've seen the photographic evidence I requested on 'xxx date' I know who was driving" then that's what you have to do. Mmm, now I've been focused on the diligance in IDing which driver defence in line with s172(4) 21. For se...

Cheer's for the reply's again 8-) Your solicitor will be able to confirm exactly what you are entitled to in the event you are acquitted. Don't have one gixxer, I'm going it alone which is why I think any costs could be difficult. They seem happy enough to hand out cash to anyone with LLB at the end...

Firstly really should go back on what you said. You can't lie to get yourself off a crime. Forums members are tracible for your own sake be careful. If your unsure of the driver of a vehicle, all you need to do is write back to the Camera Partnership after you've got the Notice (time limit so don't ...
