Surely cyclists are usually in favour of drivers being penalised by the authorities?

How he hasn't been sacked yet is beyond me?

Does his force have to actually start killing civilians before anyone will take Brunstrom out of the service and give him a severe verbal kicking?

They could've at least copied a proper sign. As others have said, an absolute shock and a terrible loss to the common-sense lobby who have supported this project since the whole speed camera debacle started. I can only hope that Paul's work is still used to destroy the current failure in road safety policy, and that his death will not be capit...

Thanks :) Oh, quick correction to the original post. The signs in question are in fact :50: . Be worried if this is a permanent reduction, but as said, I really can't see it myself. There'd be zero compliance - indeed, in my experience average travel speeds on the M6 there are well into the mid 80s.
