| The starship Troopers quote is quite funny but real life can always go one better: Simon Weston , who was very badly burned on the Sir Galahad was being interviewed last year and was asked about the possibility of his Son (in his mid teens at the time I believe) wanting to join the armed forces to w... |

| I Live in Newport not far from Ebbw Vale and the accident on the M4 that lost the lives of two innocent people travelling home from Ireland and the three idiots who were in a car that ploughed into them was right next to my house. The names of the idiots are now painted onto a bridge about 125m from... |

| At around 3.30am a two car collision on the M4 resulted in the death of 5 people. This crash took place within 300ft of my house and the motorway is still shut. The local 'news' is that the police were pursuing a vehicle on the wrong side of the motorway when it collided head on with another vehicle... |

| It might not distract the car it's following but I'm sure a low flying aircraft would possibly be a distraction to the other drivers who could see it. |

Have I missed the thread about Mike Dickin being killed in a 6 car crash on Monday evening?
I would have thought with Paul having been on his show it would have been posted and I apologise if I have just missed it.
If you do have any contact with his colleagues please pass on my condolences. |

| Sorry Handy but I have to disagree. An offence is comitted by a named individual only when it can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt. In the case of a speeding offence that evidence is made up of two pieces of evidence that the car was exceeding the speed limit, in the case of a device operated by ... |

They have adjourned until 2.30.
Definitely worth going in my opinion Paul, a road safety expert would probably be interviewed by SKY, BBC and ITV who are all there! |

"And all this to try to prevent the now-established 4% of accidents caused by breaking the speed limit. "
Is this 4% figure where speed in excess of the speed limt was the only factor, the primary factor or a contributory factor? |
